This calculator plans one carton type at a time. It estimates how many cartons fit per layer, how many layers fit within your loaded-height limit, and how many pallets are needed for the total shipment quantity.
TI means cartons per layer. HI means number of layers. Together, TI × HI gives the height-limited carton capacity before any optional weight constraint is applied.
HI is the available cargo height divided by carton height, rounded down. If one carton layer does not fit, the calculator shows a clear capacity message.
This version tests pure 0° and 90° carton footprint orientations plus simple vertical or horizontal mixed-orientation splits for one carton type. It assumes zero pallet overhang and does not perform global warehouse optimization.
Carton weight is optional. If you enable a maximum loaded pallet weight, carton weight becomes required and the calculator checks whether weight limits capacity before height does.
